Hi I'm Michael.

 

I have worked in the film-making industry since graduating University in 2017 with an MA in Documentary Journalism. I have a passion for creating inspiring, emotive content and I love working as part of a wider creative team on a dedicated campaign or project.

I have been lucky enough to work in a in-house team as a Producer for the last couple of years. Working closely across a breadth of campaigns and seeing how video and multi-media are best placed to achieving campaign goals. The aspect of the job that really excites me is people. Meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures, understanding them and getting the best portrayal of them on camera. My love for people and working with them is what gets me up everyday (apologies for the cringyness of that last statement). I love my work and the opportunities it gives me to meet and film great people.

Along with working with video agencies and in marketing in the Higher Education sector I have my own personal passions when it comes to film-making. This is where I started to fall in love with filming weddings. It is hard to find a more sincere and unique moment as what comes around each time I film a wedding. To be a part of someones special day is always a real honour.

All in all I love all things film, I surround myself with it in my daily life and couldn't be happier in the industry I am in.
